ARAD^® 5 14.5"

The ARAD 5 sets a new standard for 5.56mm combat rifles, engineered specifically for Special Forces and Law Enforcement professionals operating in the most unforgiving environments. As the platform of choice for Israel’s elite YAMAM unit, the ARAD 5 is built on a refined AR architecture and field-proven in mission-critical engagements where reliability, speed, and accuracy are paramount.

This mission-critical platform features a short-stroke gas piston system and a multi-position gas regulator, allowing for seamless operation in regular, suppressed, or extreme environmental conditions. The design integrates a free-floating hammer-forged barrel and full ambidextrous controls, including the safety lever, magazine release, bolt catch, and charging handle, to provide ultimate versatility for both left and right-handed operators. The rifle features a monolithic upper MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny rail and M-LOK rails at the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions, providing endless customization options for optics and attachments. Its modular construction supports rapid barrel changes and multi-caliber capability (5.56x45mm and .300BLK), enabling the rifle to adapt effortlessly to evolving tactical requirements.

By integrating the ARBEL system, the ARAD 5 functions as a highly effective anti-drone solution, transforming the rifle into a computerized fire control system platform. This cutting-edge technology significantly increases lethality against agile threats, specifically addressing the modern challenge of unmanned aerial systems (UAS). By optimizing shot timing and precision at the individual operator level, the ARBEL provides a decisive advantage in neutralizing drones and fast-moving targets. The ARAD 5 is IWI’s premier answer to the modern battlefield, a fusion of combat experience and digital precision designed to protect those who protect us.
