IWI TechComputerized weapon systems for the modern battlefield
Technology that turns every soldier into a precise, lethal shooter
IWI Tech is the technology line of Israel Weapon Industries: computerized fire-control systems and energy systems that upgrade the rifles and machine guns a force already carries. ARBEL, the first of them, times each shot for the highest probability of a hit and lets a soldier bring down a small drone with a standard rifle. The same platform powers the ARBEL LMG upgrade for the NEGEV, the ARBEL AR lower receiver for AR-15 rifles, and ARBEL BOOST, the energy system that keeps the weapon's optics and sensors running for the whole mission.

ARBEL kinetic counter-UAS
IWI ARBEL LMG brings computerized fire control to the light machine gun. Built into the grip of the combat-proven NEGEV, ARBEL turns the machine gun into a precise, effective, and lethal weapon at ranges of more than 500 m. Installation is a simple grip replacement, so gunners keep the weapon they already know and need only minimal training. Operation is just as simple: the gunner switches to ARBEL mode, aims and pulls the trigger. The first round is fired mechanically, keeping the operator in full control. While the trigger is held, the system’s algorithms release the follow-up rounds at the optimal cadence of fire, reducing shot dispersion and increasing hit probability against static and moving targets, even under stress. Optics-agnostic and combat-ready, ARBEL LMG performs in any environment, day or night.
ARBEL LMG
Enhanced trigger mechanism
The IWI ARBEL Anti-Drone System is the only counter-UAS solution operated directly from the soldier’s personal weapon. A computerized fire-control system built into the lower receiver of a standard AR-15, it turns every infantry soldier into an effective drone interceptor, with no need for costly or complex external systems. Operation stays simple: soldiers use their own rifle, switch to ARBEL mode, aim and pull the trigger. The shooter focuses entirely on tracking and aiming, while the system’s algorithms release each follow-up round at the optimal cadence of fire, neutralizing small, fast-moving drones within seconds. Optics-agnostic and combat-proven, ARBEL Anti-Drone System performs day and night, in urban, rural, and harsh battlefield conditions, delivering strategic impact at the soldier’s trigger finger for only a few dollars per engagement.
ARBEL AR
Revolutionary computerized weapon system
IWI ARBEL AR brings computerized fire control to the soldier’s own AR-15, turning it into a precise, effective, and lethal weapon. A simple lower-receiver replacement is all it takes, so soldiers keep the rifle they already know and need only minimal training. In ARBEL mode, the soldier aims and keeps the trigger pressed. After the first, mechanically fired round, the system takes over the timing of every follow-up shot, releasing each round at the right moment, so the shooter stays focused on the target. ARBEL AR meets the challenge of urban warfare, where each target is exposed for only two to three seconds: it keeps soldiers precise and lethal, even when exhausted and against moving targets. With more hits per round fired, ARBEL AR also saves ammunition on the battlefield.
ARBEL BOOST
Integrated energy system
IWI ARBEL BOOST is an integrated energy system that frees soldiers from battery management. Thermal sights, night-vision devices and tactical sensors give a decisive advantage on today’s battlefield, but their short battery life forces soldiers to carry multiple spares. BOOST solves this by turning the rifle’s buttstock into a central power hub, connected by a dedicated harness to the soldier’s optics and electronic devices. Installed within the weapon’s original AR-15/M4 architecture, it preserves handling, balance and the natural sight picture, so soldiers keep using the same familiar rifle. BOOST extends runtime by three to five times, while each device’s original battery remains in place as a backup. The result: less weight, simpler logistics and sustained, mission-long power for every soldier.
