NEGEV^® 7 20

The NEGEV 7 (7.62x51mm) epitomizes IWI’s engineering excellence, combining unparalleled precision and power for the modern battlefield. As the lightest 7.62mm light machine gun in the world to feature a semi-automatic mode, it is extensively deployed by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and trusted by military forces globally. This dual-mode operation allows for controlled, precise engagement in Close Quarter Battle (CQB) while providing overwhelming full-automatic firepower when needed. Its lethal 7.62mm ammunition is specifically effective in urban warfare, capable of penetrating enemy cover and thick walls that lighter calibers cannot. To ensure maximum operational adaptability, the NEGEV 7 is available in several barrel lengths and is fully compatible with a wide range of suppressors, including IWI’s advanced line of signature reduction solutions.

Engineered for the harshest conditions, the NEGEV 7 complies with MIL-STD 810 standards and features a gas regulator to ensure reliable operation in adverse environments. The weapon is designed with a hydraulic recoil mechanism and a flash suppressor compensator to reduce muzzle rise and recoil, enhancing the shooter's accuracy and control. To maintain a constant and reliable zero, a Picatinny rail is welded directly to the receiver, while additional rails integrated on both sides of the handguard provide a robust platform for mounting tactical accessories. Its ergonomic design includes protruding controls for fast operation even while wearing gloves, and a low silhouette for improved concealment. For maximum mission versatility, it supports various mounting options, including helicopter, vehicle, and naval mounts, and is equipped with tritium night sights for enhanced visibility.

The NEGEV 7 is further enhanced by its compatibility with the ARBEL computerized weapon system, a revolutionary technology that significantly increases operator lethality and survivability. By utilizing advanced algorithms to enable precise engagement within short windows of opportunity—even under extreme physical stress or fatigue—the ARBEL system transforms the LMG into a next-generation force multiplier. Fed by either an assault drum or belt chain, the weapon allows for simple barrel changes and quick disassembly for efficient field maintenance. Combining a legacy of combat-proven reliability with cutting-edge innovation, the NEGEV 7 remains a vital asset for elite forces and critical missions worldwide.
